Welcome to Rm 21's blog for 2020. We are an energetic Year 2 class and our teacher is Miss Rachael Fullard. We are looking forward to working together and learning lots of exciting and new things this year. Please check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.

I love baking, What did you make Monique? I bet it tasted delicious. Alexander your playdough person is doing the splits! Did you know that Ms Driver has been practising her splits? Miranda you are so helpful. It's lovely to see you shining your Empathy GEM. Yolanda is that our CR blend poem I see? I wonder how many CR words you can think of now? Great job Room 21. You are all working hard on your distance learning. From Miss Stuhlmann
Kia ora Room 21, thank you for sharing your learning Monique, Alexander, Miranda and Yolanda. I see that there is lots of baking going on at your homes: cupcake, biscuits and bread. Monique and Miranda you have learnt so many useful skills, kneading, stirring, mixing, rolling and even breaking eggs. Alexander you are obviously very artistic. I bet Mama and Papa loved your special note and beautiful drawing. Did you draw an obstacle course with chalk on the concrete? What a great idea. Yolanda you look very busy with your writing. Have you been practicing reading you poem too? Keep up the good work everyone.
Well Monique, Alexander, Miranda and Yolanda you have been busy! Lots of baking going on at your homes. Miranda and Monique I'm not sure which looks the most delicious the cupcake, biscuits or the bread. Lots of maths involved and also new skills like kneading, mixing, rolling. Alexander what a talented artist you are. Fabulous that you have been getting outside and exercising too. You are showing the EMPATHY Gem by reading to your sister. Yolanda you look very busy with your writing. I bet you have been reading and drawing too.
Great to see Monique, Alexander and Yolanda practising their reading and writing at home. Alexander's drawings are great and the messages very sweet. I could do with Monique and Miranda helping in my kitchen, they look like master chefs to me!
I agree Mrs Jackman I could also do with Monique and Miranda helping in my kitchen. After such a rainy Sunday it is nice to get out in the sunshine like Monique and Alexander have done. Alexander I love how you are reading to your little sister, that is so kind, I bet she really enjoyed that. Do you have a favourite book to read to her? And alot of writing practice also in room 21, Miss Fullard will be so proud of you all!
Ooh that baking looks delicious Monique. Did you enjoy eating it all? You've been very creative Alexander. Nice drawings. Your baking looks delicious too Miranda. Yummy! You look pretty busy Yolanda. Keep up the hard work. From Mrs Burge
